Foldable adhesive tape with tear-resistant liners that can be pulled off individually for an easy and effective seal of the air-tight joint at window and corner junctions. Working temperature: from -5 °C.

PRODUCT DATA
To guarantee air and wind-tightness for the skin of a construction it must have the appropriate foils or panel materials providing a permanent seal at overlaps, gaps, joints and penetration points. AIRSTOP FB Window Tape is a foldable adhesive tape with 3 backing strips that can be pulled off individually for easy and safe sealing of the air-tight joint at windows and corner connections, and at panel butt joints in wooden constructions. Joint connections according to ÖNORM B 5320 and DIN 4108-7 are possible. Also available with additional adhesive strips for adhesion on either side!

PROCESSING GUIDELINE

AIRSTOP FB Window Tape is cut to the required length, folded to an L-shape and one side of the backing strip (1.5 or 2.5 cm) is removed. Fit AIRSTOP FB Window Tape to the corner / edge and then remove the remaining backing.
The materials used must be free from dust and grease and substrates must be dry and supporting.
The greater the pressure applied, the better the performance of the adhesive tape.
AIRSTOP FB Window Tape has the function of sealant and not of a strong connector. The pure acrylate adhesive used does not contain resins or other additives that could cause the adhesive film to become brittle and therefore this product is extremely resistant to ageing.
